The social networking efforts we have in place for the iliveisl blog help leverage its blogging content tremendously. By taking the daily posts and automatically sending them to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Technorati, the iliveisl blog enjoys high web traffic (top 3%) and high SEO (99%). The blog’s Twitter account has even received a few direct messages from Guy Kawasaki!
But it’s not all work, in fact, most of the blog posts are very light in nature. Maybe in this stressful time, lighthearted ramblings of an avatar help get our minds off more serious matters, at least for a moment.
It was nice to see that feeling echoed back by thoughtful words on The Top 10 Blog mentioning iliveisl as a Top Twitter Trio of the Day.
And now, as they say, for something completely different. Tweets about adventures in virtual worlds from Ener Hax and her interesting blog i live in science land I can’t claim to understand all of it but I find it fascinating.
To which our Ener Hax responded “hey! thank you for the very kind words! and as far as understanding? well, i don’t understand it all either! =)”
Social networking is not hard and you certainly don’t need to purchase software to maximize it, simply taking part of the conversation yields great results!
